Wine4Food Looks Back at 2018

Wine4Food Looks Back at 2018 1080 1080 Wine4Food

2018 was an unbelievable year for Wine4Food. From putting together an affordable dinner party with Samantha Sommelier through sabering true Champagne with Sophie Gonet and all 31 videos in between, we have grown and evolved so much thanks to our viewers, guests, and hosts. We are thrilled to announce that our video viewership and website traffic grew by over 8x (!) in 2018, thanks to the exciting content that you helped us create. THANK YOU for an incredible year.

This 2018 rewind video is a culmination of some of our favorite moments and guests from the past year. We followed somms to drink Kabinett Riesling and eat Country Ham at Momofuku Ssäm Bar with Nicole Hakli and Chef Max Ng, and then traveled to Alsace to drink dry Riesling in Ribeauville with David Jaegle. We pondered Prosecco at the International Culinary Center, and disgorged Champagne in Mareuil-sur-Ay. We learned Somm Tips from Keri, Paul, Alan, Sophie, Franck, and Timothy. And we got wonderful Tasting Notes from Daniel, Nicole, Scott and Sabra (more coming soon!).

We even added a couple of videos outside of our wine comfort zone, leading to one of our most memorable videos: Tasting Olive Oil with Nicholas Coleman of Grove & Vine. Pro tip: Do not follow Carole’s lead on the strepaggio technique of tasting olive oil.

Overall, we released 33 videos this year and are so excited for another year of Wine4Food, collaborating with the world’s leading sommeliers, chefs, and wine producers. What are you looking for from us in 2019? Let us know on our YouTube channel, on Facebook, or on Instagram.

Thanks for all your support, and Happy New Year from all of us at Wine4Food.
