4th of July Ice Cream Float

4th of July Ice Cream Float 2513 2560 Garima Kothari

Tempting, tasty, and celebratory—we created this ice cream float to help ring in our country’s birthday. It’s perfect to assemble and enjoy with kids (that bright blue Curaçao syrup is totally non-alcoholic), although it makes a great grown-up treat with a glass of bubbly, like Michel Gonet Blanc de Noirs Champagne. Sit back and watch the fireworks in delicious frozen style.

Makes 4 large servings

Ingredients

4 tablespoon rose syrup

4 tablespoons blue Curaçao syrup

4 cups water

4 scoops vanilla ice cream

1 can whipped cream

cherries, to garnish

Ice

Sprinkles, optional

Directions

Mix together rose syrup with 2 cups of water and Curaçao syrup with the remaining 2 cups of water. Fill 4 sundae glasses with ice and pour in the rose mixture till midway of each glass. Now, slowly pour in the blue mixture on top of the rose mixture. Top with ice cream, whipped cream & cherries.
