An old winery set in the remarkable Middle Mosel bend of the river that includes the villages of Erden and Urzig…prime spots for delicate, spicy Rieslings. I was struck by a couple of Alter Weinhof barrel samples from 2012, and am bringing them in now. So far…these are the only 2012s in my portfolio…because I think these wines are perfect for drinking in their youth!
