The European Photo Album, Winter 2013

The European Photo Album, Winter 2013 150 150 David Rosengarten

As you may know, I’ve just returned from an amazing winter trip. Three weeks in Europe—from a balmy wine-tasting on the banks of the Bosporus, to a week of Languedoc vineyarding in the south of France, to luscious Chenin Blanc discoveries in the Loire Valley, to a wild snow-covered jaunt through five German wine regions—ending with a supra-luxe gastro-weekend in Paris.

The good life, for sure.

You’ll be hearing much about all of this in the coming months. And, I hope, drinking some of it soon.

For now, I will be posting many of my photos, with accompanying prose, on Twitter and Facebook over the next several weeks.

Also, look on www.drosengarten.com next week, for my photo essay on one of the delights of Germany’s Pfalz region: saumagen, or stuffed pig’s stomach! Hey, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

Below are a few sneak peak photos from upcoming photo montages on Facebook and Twitter. And check out the first group of photographs showcasing Istanbul on Facebook here.
